Wax Ring Carving Class
Next class starts Monday 14th July 2025
6pm to 8pm
Anvil Studios, 161 Pt Chev Rd, Pt Chev, Auckland
Classes run for 3 consecutive Monday evenings.
Using specialist jewellers wax, you will scrape, file, drill, sand and shape your own unique ring/rings. This will be cast using the lost wax casting process, and then finished, resulting in an individual ring of your own design.
Tuition is provided by an experienced tutor and a professional jeweller in a supportive learning environment. No experience is necessary.
Please note that this course is for absolute beginners and therefore stone setting is not taught as this is a more specialised skill.
We will provide jewellers wax and all necessary tools. Your tutor will organise the casting for you at your own cost (pieces vary in price depending on metal, size and weight).
Please note, once payment has gone through your place is confirmed. NO refunds will be given. Credits are considered depending on reason for cancellation. A credit will be offered if a class cannot be attended with advanced notification. Credits will not be provided for no-shows or same day cancellations.
IV Jewellery reserves the right to postpone a class if circumstances require it. Credits will be given to attend another class at another date.
